Network and CAPPA Joint Annual Conference 2020- Goes Virtual!
October 22-23, 2020

Network and CAPPA Joint Annual Conference 2020 Goes Virtual!

We will certainly miss being able to come together in-person to share and gain information and to meet and connect with colleagues and workshop presenters. We want to create a conference event that meets as many of our members’ needs as possible given the parameters that virtual conferences/workshops have. Now, perhaps more than ever, it is important for our community to stay connected, stand united, and meet this challenge together.
While we won’t be able to meet in-person, what we hope to offer in a thoughtful, user-friendly manner, are keynote presentations, workshops, networking opportunities, and connection time with vendors. It will be different this year since we cannot be in the same physical location, but assisted by technology, we can do all that. With no travel and flexibility, we look forward to new opportunities for R&R Network and CAPPA members from across the state, as well as state partners, joining us as we collectively support our children, families and communities.
Virtual Conference Details
Workshops will be both live and on-demand, with some speakers available for live discussion during their scheduled presentation time. The Virtual Exhibit Hall will run the full conference with links to company videos, materials on the platform, and live chat and meeting opportunities. We also hope to incorporate some networking opportunities to connect you with your peers. Post conference, workshop sessions will be recorded and available for viewing for a limited time which will provide additional learning opportunities for conferees following the conference dates.
Registration Fees
Conference registration fees for members will begin at $250 per person if 5 or more staff from one agency attend or $265 per person. Conference registration includes access to 4 keynote sessions, over 50 workshops, opportunities to virtually network with colleagues from around the state and connect with exhibitors.
We hope you can join us virtually!

Exhibitor & Sponsorship Opportunities for the Early Care and Education Field

California’s premiere educational conference for the Child Care Resource and Referral and Alternative Payment Program field will be held virtually, October 22-23, 2020. The California Child Care Resource & Referral Network (R&R Network) and the California Alternative Payment Program Association (CAPPA) will be joining forces once again to build our capacity to impact the communities we serve all across the state. We invite you to take advantage of this special event to support early childhood education and promote your company and products at our joint conference. It will be different this year since we cannot be in the same physical location, but assisted by technology, we can do all that. With no travel and flexibility, we look forward to new opportunities with our conference partners.

There are a variety of ways to sponsor The Virtual Conference or show your support. Whether you are interested in one of our many sponsorship opportunities, purchasing ad space in the Virtual Conference program or hosting an exhibit booth in our Virtual Exhibition Hall to showcase new products or launch promotions, there will be ample opportunity for your company to be recognized as a contributor to the Early Learning and Child Care field and for you to build visibility and connect with senior management and key decision makers.

Research has shown that high quality early care and education experiences make a difference in children’s lifelong academic and social success. In addition, child care helps support parents as they work, attend school, or engage in training programs. By participating in our joint conference, you are demonstrating your support for California’s children and their families, and will be able to make a connection with a significant number of leaders in the early childhood and education community.

Highlights for this year’s program include:

  • 600 people from across the state are expected to attend this conference, including line staff, managers, directors and executive directors of agencies
  • 4 Dynamic keynote speakers and over 60 exciting workshops
  • Ample opportunities to virtually meet Resource & Referral, Alternative Payment professionals and other stakeholders in the Early Learning and Child Care and Development community
  • No Transportation, hotel, food and beverage, Booth set up, freight costs
  • The Conference Platform will be available to access until midnight on November 6th. This is an opportunity for sponsors and exhibitors to live on for 2 weeks post-conference
