Dear Child Care and Development Partners,

The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) will host its fourth quarterly Child Care & Development Quarterly Stakeholder Call on April 14, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Please register for the event here.

During the call, we will respond to your questions and update you on our progress operationalizing the transition, which includes:

• Our continued collaboration with the California Department of Education

• The operationalization of $1 billion in Federal Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSA) Funding to support California’s Child Care programs

• The finalization of our Child Care & Development Transition Plan

• The submission of the Child Care & Development State Fund [CCDF] Plan Draft to the legislature

• An update on the Child and Adult Care Food Program

• Ongoing stakeholder engagement efforts
