Greetings child care partners,

In California, American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding was used for the $525 and $600 per-child stipends, licensed stipends ($3500-$6500), COVID-19-related closure days, and payment based on child enrollment rather than attendance. ARPA funding will also be used to fund rate increases effective January 2022. The federal government requires child care providers to complete a survey if they received and/or plan to receive any benefits funded by ARPA, and CDSS is asking all child care providers to complete the ARPA survey by December 31, 2021.
