Category: Events

Dear Education and P-3 Alignment Partners,

We are excited to announce registration is open for the next installment in our preschool to third grade (P-3) webinar series. As you may already know, this year, the Opportunities for All Branch at the California Department of Education (CDE) will host a P-3 Webinar Series focused on working with and supporting our education partners as they consider, plan for, and implement P-3 strategies.

Please join us on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. for Bridging the Emerging Universal Programs to Support UPK & P-3 Alignment: Insight from CDE and Education Leaders on this significant moment.

This webinar will provide the latest information on new investments in education, with a focus on the planning and implementation of Universal Preschool, including Transitional Kindergarten, and information on how upcoming funding opportunities across early learning, expanded learning, and nutrition services can support a P-3 frame.

The CDE, in partnership with educational leaders in Shasta County Office of Education, Stockton Unified School District and Santa Barbara County Office of Education, will highlight considerations for successful universal preschool and P-3 alignment implementation. Practitioners from local educational agencies across the state will discuss planning and implementation possibilities as they plan for bridging these inter-connected universal programs to support their UPK and P-3 Alignment approach. These leaders will share the significance of this moment in education and the impact on effective learning experiences for all students.
